Pullman targets five in Asia expansion

PULLMAN will open five new hotels over the next six years in China, Thailand and Vietnam, in addition to 12 other Pullman commitments in Asia.

Accor Asia Pacific senior vice president development Gaurav Bhushan said: "The rapid expansion both in terms of the number of operating hotels today and the commitment to development has surpassed our expectations and we are well on track towards having 100 Pullman hotels throughout Asia Pacific by 2015."

The 300-room Pullman Shanghai Pudong Zhangjiang located in Pudong Shanghai is scheduled to open in 2010, while the 305-room Pullman Shanghai South starts welcoming guests in June 2013 as part of the Shanghai Zhongxing City project.

Aisawan Hotel Pattaya on Wongamart Beach will be rebranded as the 353-room Pullman Pattaya Aisawan by year-end, and the Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithorn Beach will open with 260 rooms and 20 villas in late 2011.

And after major renovations scheduled for completion by mid 2011, Horison Hotel Hanoi will join the group's network as the Pullman Hanoi Horison.
