The move came a month after the Singaporean team inspected cruise-related facilities in Thailand's two upper southern provinces, and formed collaborations in investment, development and marketing for a new cruise route between the two countries.
According to local Vietnam media reports, the Singaporean delegation, comprising representatives from Singapore Tourism Board, Singapore Cruise Centre and investment groups, inspected seaports and tourist sites in Thua Thien-Hue, Danang, Quang Nam and Nha Trang between July 7 and 10.
Vietnam National Administration of Tourism head Nguyen Van Tuan said the NTO hoped cooperation would continue and that it would lead to more attractive cruise itineraries and improvements of cruise infrastructure in Vietnam. |
