Day 1: Arrival Ha Noi Upon arrival in Noi Bai Airport (35 km from downtown Ha Noi), you will be greeted by our guide then transferred to your downtown hotel. Welcome dinner at a typical Vietnamese restaurant with folk show. Overnight in Ha Noi. Day 2: Ha Noi Full day city tour: the main boulevards of Ha Noi, Temple of Literature. Visit to the prestigious Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the famous One Pillar Pagoda. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Enjoy a one-hour cyclo ride around the Old Quarter. After dinner, enjoy the incredible Water Puppet performance. Day 3: Ha Noi - Hoa Lu - Mai Chau Morning transfer to Hoa Lu, the "dry" Ha Long Bay. The area is made up of limestone hills encircled by rivers and canals. Lunch at local restaurant. Afternoon drive to picturesque Mai Chau nestled on the valley floor surrounded by soaring mountains. Visit a village of the White Thai ethnic minority. Have dinner while enjoying Thai traditional dance and song. Overnight in the village. Day 4: Mai Chau - Ha Noi Drive back to Hoa Binh. Visit Hoa Binh Lake, Thac Bo Cave and Thac Bo Temple. Lunch in Hoa Binh. Afternoon return to Ha Noi. Dinner and overnight in Ha Noi. Day 5: Ha Noi - Ha Long Bay Head out of Ha Noi to the World Heritage listed Ha Long Bay. Explore the mystery and beauty of Ha Long Bay during a five hour cruise. Enjoy a leisurely boat trip through the bay stopping to explore some of the many islands, caves and grottoes. Enjoy a freshly caught lunch of seafood on board. Dinner and overnight in Ha Long Bay. Day 6: Ha Long Bay - Bac Ninh - Ha Noi Drive to Bac Ninh Province and visit to Quan Ho Village, the cradle of Vietnamese traditional music and theatre. Enjoy special music performance by the locals in the temple. Lunch in Ha Noi. Afternoon free at leisure. Dinner and overnight in Ha Noi. Day 7: Ha Noi - Hue Transfer to the airport for your flight to the Imperial city of Hue. Meet at Phu Bai Airport then transfer to downtown for check-in at hotel. Visit to Imperial Citadel, Dong Ba Market. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon a continue to visit Tu Duc and Khai Dinh tombs. After dinner, enjoy a Ca Hue (performance of traditional music on the boat) on the Perfume River. Day 8: Hue - Lang Co - Hoi An Transfer to the ancient town of Hoi An via the breathtaking Hai Van Pass. Take lunch en route at the Lang Co fishing village. Enjoy a walking tour of the old streets of Hoi An where the mix of Japanese and Chinese architecture reflects its past history as an important trading port. Dinner and overnight in Hoi An. Day 9: Hoi An - Da Nang - Ho Chi Minh City Transfer to Da Nang Airport for a flight to Ho Chi Minh City. You will be met then transferred downtown for check-in at the hotel. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon half-day city tour will include an orientation tour of Saigon's main boulevards, Notre Dame Cathedral, the splendid Post Office and the bustling Ben Thanh Market. Dinner and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. Day 10: Mekong Delta Drive to Vinh Long on the Mekong Delta. Enjoy a boat trip along the canals to one of the many islands to visit a farmer's village. Lunch in a bonsai garden. Vinh Long is renowned as the homeland of traditional folk songs called "Don Ca Tai Tu". You will have a chance to listen to these folksongs and talk with local artists. Overnight in Vinh Long at local people's house built on the river. Day 11: Vinh Long - Ho Chi Minh City Take an early morning boat trip to enjoy Cai Be colorful floating market. Lunch at local restaurant. Return to Ho Chi Minh in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City. Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City - Departure Your day is free for shopping until time to the airport for departure.
