DEPARTING FROM HA NOI
            Located at the heart of the Northern Delta with an area of 3,344.47 square kilometres, Hanoi Capital is one of the 17 largest capitals in the world. On the excursion in 1010, Emperor Ly Thai To realized the importance of this talent and legendary region; thus he decided to move the capital from Hoa Lu (in Ninh Binh Province nowadays) to Dai La Citadel (the former name of Hanoi today) and gave the name to this region as Thang Long (Ascending Dragon). Through thousands of years of construction and development, Ha Noi has been considered as the legendary region of Vietnam.   
 
Hanoi is not only the center of economics, politics and culture but also that of tourism attracting the domestic and foreign visitors. It reserves the unique traditional shapes of culture with various temples, pagodas, communal houses and traditional handicraft villages.

FULL DAY HANOI CITY TOUR

In the morning, our guide and driver pick you up at your hotel and drive for the visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum, One-Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Temple and Temple of Literature. Lunch at the local restaurant. Continue to visit Museum of Ethnology. Then, take one-hour cyclo tour through the Old Quarters. Our last stop today is at the Hanoi Water Puppetry Theatre, where you could enjoy a performance which shows the Vietnamese Argricultural culture and festivities.
 
 
FOLK SONG PERFORMANCE

CHEO is a particular folk form of the Viet ethnic group in the Red River Delta. In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel and transfer to Old House Cafe in the Old Quarter where Cheo show will be performed. Enjoy the performance for one hour.
 
 
FULL DAY FOR TRADITIONAL COOKING CLASS

This cooking class begins at 08:00am. Drive to a local market to buy some vegetable for the cooking class. There will be a performance of how to cook several traditional and authentic Vietnamese dishes. Then, you will produce your own Vietnamese dish and listen to the comments of the teacher before enjoying your own product.
 
 
FULL DAY TRIP TO VISIT PERFUME PAGODA

In the morning, depart from Hanoi to Duc Village. This excursion goes through the scenic landscape. Upon arrival, take a boat trip along Yen River. Continue the trip by taking one-hour walk to Thien Tru Pagoda (Heaven kitchen), the Perfume cave and Perfume Pagoda. We visit Giai Oan and Tuyet Son pagodas. After lunch, return to the bus parking for driving back to Hanoi. 
 
ONE DAY TRIP TO VISIT HOA LU - TAM COC

Located in Ninh Binh, Hoa Lu Ancient Capital was chosen as the first capital of Vietnam feudal centralism regime. In 1010, King Ly Thai To moved the capital from Hoa Lu to Thang Long (Hanoi today), opening a new era for Vietnamese People. Ninh Binh has reserved beautiful Tam Coc, Bich Dong, Dich Long, Hoa Son, Tien caves, Van Trinh Grotto and many other special landscapes which is widely recognized as “Ha Long on land”.
Morning, our local guide and driver pick you up at your hotel at 8:00am to leave for Ninh Binh Town. En route, you can take some stop-overs for taking photographs. Upon arrival at Hoa Lu, you will take a sampan ride through a karst landscape to visit Tam Coc Grottos. Then leave the sampan and visit Thai Vy Temple, built in 13th century. Next stop is Hoa Lu, the former capital of the Dinh and Early Le Dynasties in Vietnam bettween the 10th and 11th centuries. In the afternoon, you are taken back to Hanoi; en route, stop for a visit at a limestone sculpture handicraft Bat Trang Village. 
 
HALONG BAY IN STYLE WITH BHAYA CRUISE (2 DAYS/ 1 NIGHT)

Day 1: Hanoi - Halong
In the morning, Bhaya shuttle bus departs from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay. Upon arrival, embarking Bahya Cruise and enjoy a welcome cocktail. Savour a delicious Vietnamese buffet lunch. After lunch, spend the afternoon cruising amongst the limestone islands, explore the Cave of Surprise (Sung Sot Cave), meet the local people at Van Gia fishing village and enjoy optional onboard activities such as: sunbathing, traditional massage and cooking demonstrations. Swim or kayak at Ho Dong Tien anchorage (if weather permits). Enjoy a luxury Vietnamese buffet dinner. Overnight aboard Bhaya.
 
Day 2: Halong - Hanoi
Early morning, practise Tai Chi on the Sundeck and starts your day with a buffet breakfast. Continue cruising in Halong Bay. Disembark Bhaya at 10:00am and transfer back to Hanoi by Bhaya Shuttle bus. End of service. 
 
 
THE PICTURESQUE VALLEY OF MAI CHAU (2 DAYS/ 1 NIGHT)

Day 1: Hanoi - Mai Chau
Located in a beautiful valley with a patchwork quilt of rice, farms and stilt-houses, Mai Chau display a riot of colors with blooming flowers and peach blossoms in Spring. After four hours of driving through the scenic landscape, you will arrive a peaceful valley surrounded by majestic mountains where you come to visit a village of White Thai people and experience their daily life and culture. Then, stay in a traditional long house in Poom Cong village to have lunch. In the afternoon, drive to Ma River and take the boat ride upstream to En, a village of White Thai people. You will visit a primary school before trekking for one hour downstream back to the bus. Return to Poom Cong Village. Dinner and overnight at Poom Cong.
 
Day 2: Mai Chau - Hanoi
After breakfast, you will trek for about two hours along the mountains' feet, passing the villages in Mai Chau Village. Then, take a walk on buffalo paths and rice paddies' boundaries. You head on to Lac, where you will have the opportunity to purchase Thai hand-made items. Go trekking to Poom Cong Village for lunch before driving back to Hanoi.
  
     
SAPA - MOUNTAINOUS MINORITY TOWN (4 DAYS/ 3 NIGHTS)

Day 1: Hanoi - Lao Cai
In the evening, drive to Hanoi Railways Station for the night train to Sapa, which is located among the Hoang Lien Son Range, in Lao Cai Province.
 
Day 2: Lao Cai - Sapa
Upon arrival at Lao Cai railway station, we do a journey up the terraced hillsides to Sapa, a former French hill resort and home to some of Vietnam's most vibrant ethnic groups. Be greeted by a hearty breakfast at a local restaurant. After breakfast, stop by the central market to see how the local people barter their wares. Next, you will get to look a how the local ethnic minorities live. Firstly, walk through the vibrant villages, rice field and thatched roof homes to see the Red Dzao at work in their distinctive red traditional dress. After lunch, check in to hotel and take a short rest. Proceed on to visit Cat Cat Cultural Village where the Black H'mong ethnic minorities live. Enjoy the view at the scenic Silver Waterfalls.
Overnight in Sapa
 
Day 3: Sapa - Lao Cai - Hanoi
After breakfast, begin your day with a visit to the weekend market for a wonderful opportunity to mingle with the different minority groups in their traditional dress. Treat yourself to an unique cultural experience, which is filled with many exotic colors and sights of the ethnic minority market. The market is a trading center as well as a gathering place for the H'mong group living nearby. Proceed on to visit Lao Cai & Ta Van village of H'mong people. Lunch in the village at local house. Continue visiting and chatting with local people before walking back Sapa for the dinner, and then transfer to Lao Cai Railway station for your night train back to Hanoi. Overnight on the train. Total trekking distance 10 km.
 
Day 4: Hanoi arrival

Arrive in Hanoi in the early morning. End the trip.
