This 15 day Eco-tour program including 6
days in the North, 4 days in the Central and 5 days in the South is
specially designed for those who love to explore unspoiled nature
through pleasant and relaxed walking activities. You will enjoy short
forest trekking excursions amidst exotic flora and fauna in several of
Vietnam’s most beautiful and well preserved National Parks, with
opportunities to stay at local peoples houses built along the river or
in the middle of the tropical forest.
Day 1: Arrival Ha
Noi
Arrive in Ha Noi and meet at Noi Bai
International Airport. Transfer to downtown for hotel check-in.
Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 2 Ha Noi
Full day Ha Noi city tour to visit
President Mausoleum, One-Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh
Temple. Afternoon a continuation to visit Van Mieu (Literture Temple),
Ho Guom (Sword Lake) and Ngoc Son Temple. Evening enjoy Water Puppet
Performance. Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 3 Ha Noi -
Ninh Binh
After breakfast, tourists drive 91 km
southwest of Ha Noi to Ninh Binh or "Viet Nam’s Inland Ha Long Bay".
Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Royal Capital, Dinh and Le Temples on the ground of
the ancient palaces. Then, a continuation to Van Lam Village for a
rowing boat trip into beautiful landscapes; explore scenery of Bich Dong
Cave with great interest. Go further about 2 km to get Tam Coc Cave, an
amazing beauty with sparkling stalactites and stalagmites in different
shapes and colors. After lunch, go to visit Phat Diem Church, an
architectural complex combining the traditional pagoda architecture of
Vietnam and the Gothic Style of Christian architecture that was built
over 100 years ago. Free leisure at hotel in Ninh Binh.
Day 4 Explore Cuc
Phuong National Park
After breakfast, go to see Cuc Phuong
National Park, the primeval forest with many beautiful caves and hot
springs. You will be fascinated at the landscape of Cuc Phuong National
Park with over 2.000 various kinds of plants and 50 kinds of orchids
being in bloom and in fragrance all the year round. Lunch and return to
Ha Noi in the afternoon. Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 5 Ha Noi - Hai
Phong - Cat Ba Island
Overland to Hai Phong via Red River Delta
with stopover at Du Hang Pagoda and flower market. Transfer to Cat Ba
island by boat. Cat Ba is a rich ecosystem full of evergreen forests,
coastal mangroves and coral reefs.
The afternoon is spent
trekking with our guide to explore the Cat Ba National Park. Dinner and
overnight in Cat Ba.
Day 6 Cat Ba
Island - Ha Long Bay - Ha Noi
Board a private boat to Ha Long Bay, a
UNESCO World Heritage Site to explore some of the many islands, caves
and grottoes. Enjoy a seafood lunch on board. Return drive to Ha Noi,
stopping en route at the Dong Trieu ceramics factory. Free to visit Ha
Noi Ancient Square. Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 7 Ha Noi - Hue
Free at leisure until transfer to Noi Bai
International Airport to get in flight to Hue. Drive to hotel. Afternoon
visit Hue Citadel, Trang Tien Bridge and Dong Ba Market. Drive back for
dinner and folk music on Perfume River. Overnight in Hue.
Day 8 Hue
After breakfast, take an excursion on
Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, Hon Chen Temple and Minh Mang
Tomb. Drive back for lunch. A continuation to visit Tu Duc Tomb and Khai
Dinh Tomb by car. Enjoying Hue lantern dinner (imperial dinner with
royal costumes) is optional. Overnight in Hue.
Day 9 Hue - Bach
Ma National Park - Lang Co Beach
Drive to Bach Ma National Park with
imposing and picturesque scenery. Visit exhibition room and some famous
waterfalls. Transfer to Lang Co Beach. Free time for sea bathing.
Overnight in Lang Co.
Day 10 Lang Co
Beach - Da Nang - Hoi An
Road Lang Co to Da Nang. On the way stop
for sightseeing in Hai Van Pass. Upon arrival in Da Nang, visit Cham
Museum, Ngu Hanh Son (Marble Mountains) and Non Nuoc Beach. Transfer to
Hoi An. Walk around to
visit Hoi An ancient town with nice quiet streets, old houses and a quay
existing until now. Hoi An is a picturesque riverside town south of Da
Nang. Known as Faifo to early western traders, it was one of South East
Asia's major international ports during the 17th, 18th and 19th
centuries. You can visit Quan Cong Temple, Phuoc Kien Pagoda, Japanese
Covered Bridge...Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 11 Hoi An - Ho
Chi Minh City
Free at leisure in Hoi An. Afternoon return
to Da Nang. Get in flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Check in hotel. Dinner on
boat along Saigon river and overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 12 Ho Chi Minh
City - Vinh Long - Can Tho
Drive to Cai Be. Take a boat trip on the
Mekong to island and enjoy daily life activities.
Visit local houses and
have lunch at a garden. Back to Vinh Long by boat and road to Can Tho.
Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 13 Can Tho -
Ho Chi Minh City
Morning boat trip on the Mekong river to
enjoy the colourful Cai Rang floating market. Return to Ho Chi Minh
City. Check in at hotel. Dinner at a local restaurant. A relaxing
"Health and Beauty" package is optional. Participants can enjoy 30
minutes of one of the following: shampoo and head massage; manicure;
foot massage or facial massage. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 14 Ho Chi Minh
City
Full day Saigon city tour to visit
Reunification Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral, Saigon Post Office, Historical
Museum, War Museum, Vinh Nghiem Pagoda and China Town. Overnight in Ho
Chi Minh City.
Day 15 Ho Chi Minh
City - Departure
Free at leisure or go shopping until
