pedal down the byways, quiet roads through peaceful landscapes, past
paddy fields, beside rivers and lakes. Recover from your exertions by
lying on the beach or swimming in the pool.
Day 1: Arrival Ho
Chi Minh City
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City (formerly
Saigon) and transfer to hotel. The rest of the day is free for
relaxation. Welcome dinner at Blue Ginger restaurant with music.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 2: Ho Chi Minh
City
After breakfast, bike ride for city tour
including Reunification Hall, Historical Museum, War Museum, Vinh Nghiem
Pagoda Binh Tay Market in China Town and lackwaren workshop. Overnight
in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 3: Ho Chi Minh
City - My Tho - Ho Chi Minh City
Drive to My Tho by car, a beautiful city of
Mekong Delta. A short My Tho sightseeing by bicycle. Boat cruise to Thoi
Son Island. Visit to fruit gardens. Lunch at Trung Luong restaurant.
Return back to Ho Chi Minh City. On the way visit Snake Farm. Overnight
in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 4: Ho Chi Minh
City - Hue
After breakfast transfer to Tan San Nhat
International Airport for the flight to Hue. On arrival in Hue, transfer
for hotel check in. Afternoon half day city tour by bike to visit Hue
Citadel, Trang Tien Bridge and Dong Ba Market. Ride back for dinner and
folk music on Perfume River. Overnight in Hue.
Day 5: Hue
After breakfast, take an excursion by boat
on Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Bike ride to visit the
community of garden-houses in Phu Mong, just 5km far away from the
centre of Hue City and some traditional craft villages. Meal at local
house. Back to hotel by bicycle. Afternoon a continuation to visit Tu
Duc Tomb and Khai Dinh Tomb by car. Evening enjoying Hue lantern dinner
(imperial dinner with royal costumes) is optional. Overnight in Hue.
Day 6: Hue - Da
Nang - Hoi An
By vehicle from Hue to Da Nang. On the way
stop for sightseeing in Hai Van Pass and Lang Co Beach. On arrival in Da
Nang, visit Ngu Hanh Son (Marble Mountains), Cham Museum. Transfer to
Hoi An. Walk around to visit Hoi An ancient town with nice quiet
streets, old houses and a quay existing until now.
Hoi An is a
picturesque riverside town south of Da Nang. Known as Faifo to early
western traders, it was one of South East Asia's major international
ports during the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. You can visit Quan Cong
Temple, Phuoc Kien Pagoda, Japanese Covered Bridge...Overnight in Hoi
An.
Day 7: Hoi An -
Cua Dai Beach - Hoi An
After breakfast, biking along Thu Bon river
to visit a fishing village. Return for lunch with “CaoLau”. Bike to Cua
Dai Beach, just 5km east of Hoi An. Free time for sea bathing. Ride back
to Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 8: Hoi An - Ha
Noi - Ha Long
Free at leisure until transfer to Da Nang
Airport for the flight to Ha Noi. Overland to Hai Phong via Red River
Delta with stopover at Du Hang Pagoda. Transfer to Ha Long. Dinner and
overnight in Ha Long.
Day 9: Ha Long -
Ha Noi
Take a sailing boat for four-hour trip
around Ha Long Bay to see the most beautiful landscapes of Ha Long Bay
with visiting some caves and grottoes. Seafood lunch on boat. Afternoon
return back to Ha Noi. Evening enjoy Water Puppet Performance. Overnight
in Ha Noi.
Day 10: Ha Noi
Full day Ha Noi city tour by bike to visit
President Mausoleum, One-Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh
Temple. Afternoon continuation to visit Van Mieu (Literture Temple), Ho
Guom (Sword Lake) and Ngoc Son Temple. Free to visit Ha Noi Ancient
Square. Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 11: Ha Noi -
Departure
Free at leisure or go shopping until time
transfer to airport for departure. |
